用途与处理方式
NoteHarbor 将你主动选择的 ChatGPT 对话、选段、附件和历史导出文件转换为本机 Markdown 笔记。扩展不把这些内容上传到 NoteHarbor 服务器，不调用 AI 模型，不使用广告、统计追踪或远程代码。
本机数据与存储
本机处理的数据包括：所选对话的标题、URL、消息 ID 与内容、附件和原始下载链接，所选库的目录句柄与名称、目录设置、语言、页内按钮显示偏好、最近 20 条保存的标题及本机笔记链接、自动更新范围与状态。采集草稿、自动更新所需的已知消息基线和待处理冲突保存在扩展自己的 IndexedDB 中；设置与状态使用 chrome.storage.local，不使用 chrome.storage.sync。下载的采集 JSON 可包含原始附件链接；请按聊天内容一样妥善保管。
页内按钮与自动更新
点击扩展后可在当前 ChatGPT 页显示保存按钮。你也可通过可选 chatgpt.com 权限开启“始终显示”：扩展在打开的 ChatGPT 页面识别消息位置和 ID 以显示收藏控件，只有主动保存时才采集正文并写入笔记。关闭自动显示后停止后续自动注入，已打开的页面可刷新以移除按钮。启用自动更新时使用相同可选网站权限，但仅处理你明确启用的对话 URL 和范围，不扫描账号其他聊天，不主动打开聊天标签页。该设置跨浏览器重启保留，直到你停止自动更新、切换目标库或卸载扩展。遇到冲突会暂停该对话更新。可撤销网站权限。
联网附件
附件请求发送到其原始受支持的 ChatGPT/OpenAI 来源；images.openai.com 回退下载仅在你启用可选权限后使用。请求可能含来源下载链接中的授权参数；NoteHarbor 不将这些链接转发到自己的服务器。扩展不提取或保存账号 cookies、密码、会话令牌。ChatGPT 页面自身的网络与账户处理遵循该服务的政策。
本地补充文件
你主动选择的本地补充文件可直接保存到当前对话的附件目录，链接追加到个人 Notes 笔记；原始字节只写入所选库，不上传，也不写入采集草稿。
目录权限
目录访问由浏览器授权。只在你选择的库内写笔记、附件、索引、历史版本、冲突与恢复备份。文件夹可通过浏览器撤销授权。库若另有云同步，保存文件将遵循你自己的同步设置。
保留与删除
“清除本机采集草稿”移除当前对话的扩展草稿，不删除已经保存的文件。关闭工作台会释放内存中的历史导入数据；草稿、设置及待处理冲突可能继续保存在本机。卸载扩展清除扩展存储，库中已经保存的笔记、附件与备份继续保留，需由你自行管理。
用途限制
不会出售聊天数据、将其用于广告或信用评估，也不用于归档功能以外的目的。

你主动发送到支持地址的邮件会经 Cloudflare Email Routing 转发到现有 Gmail 收件箱，用于回复咨询与合理跟进。你可以通过该地址申请删除往来记录；依法需要保留的记录除外。扩展不会自动通过邮件发送聊天或文件。
限定用途 / Limited Use
NoteHarbor 通过 Chrome 或 Google API 获得的信息，其处理遵守 Chrome Web Store 用户数据政策，包括 Limited Use（限定用途）要求。数据仅用于本说明披露的本地对话保存及管理功能；不会为广告或无关目的出售或转移用户数据。扩展不会向 HorizonSail 上传聊天正文，因此我们不能通过扩展读取你的聊天。仅当你明确同意并为技术支持主动提供具体内容时，才会为处理该请求读取这些内容。

Purpose and processing
NoteHarbor converts chosen ChatGPT conversations, excerpts, attachments and official exports into local Markdown notes. It does not upload them to a NoteHarbor server, invoke an AI model, run analytics or advertising, or execute remote code.
Local data and storage
Data processed locally includes chosen chat titles, URLs, message IDs and text; attachments and original download URLs; the vault directory handle and name; folder/language settings; optional inline-button preferences; up to 20 recent save titles and local note links; and automatic-update scope and status. Drafts, known-message baselines for automatic updates and pending conflicts are stored in extension-local IndexedDB. Preferences/status use chrome.storage.local, never chrome.storage.sync. Downloaded capture JSON can contain original signed attachment URLs and should be protected like the chat itself.
Inline controls and automatic updates
A toolbar action shows save controls on the chosen chat. Optional chatgpt.com access can enable Always show: controls identify message positions and IDs on open ChatGPT pages, while text capture and writing follow an explicit save action. Disabling Always show stops future automatic injection; refresh existing pages to remove their controls. The same optional host access separately enables updates only for explicitly opted-in conversation URLs and message ranges. The extension neither inventories the account nor opens other chat tabs. Settings persist across restarts until stopped, the target vault changes or the extension is removed. Conflicts pause updates. Website permission can be revoked.
Online attachments
Attachment requests go to their original supported ChatGPT/OpenAI source. The optional images.openai.com fallback is used only after permission is granted. Source URLs can carry authorization parameters; these are not forwarded to NoteHarbor servers. The extension does not extract or store account cookies, passwords or session tokens. The ChatGPT page itself follows that service's network and privacy policies.
Locally chosen files
Locally chosen supplementary files are saved into the conversation’s attachment folder and linked from its personal Notes file. Those original bytes are written only to the selected vault, not uploaded or added to capture drafts.
Folder permissions
Folder writes require browser authorization and stay within the chosen vault. Saved files include transcripts, attachments, personal notes, indexes, versions, conflicts and recovery copies. Your own vault cloud-sync settings still apply. Browser folder access can be revoked.
Retention and deletion
Clear local draft removes the current captured conversation draft; saved vault files remain. Closing the workspace releases in-memory historical imports, while captured drafts, preferences and conflicts can remain locally. Uninstalling clears extension storage, not saved vault files and backups.
Use restrictions
Data is not sold, used for advertising or credit decisions, or processed for purposes unrelated to archiving.
Contact and policy changes
The operator and publisher is HorizonSail. Privacy and support contact: noteharbor@horizonsail.app. Changes to features or data practices will be reflected in this policy and its date. This policy describes NoteHarbor 0.4; store submission or publication status is determined by the actual store listing.
Messages you choose to send to the support address are forwarded through Cloudflare Email Routing to an existing Gmail inbox for responses and reasonable follow-up. You may request deletion of correspondence through that address, except for records that must be retained by law. The extension does not automatically email conversations or files.
Limited Use
NoteHarbor complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements, when handling information received through Chrome or Google APIs. Data is used only for the local conversation-saving and management features disclosed here; it is not sold or transferred for advertising or unrelated purposes. The extension does not upload chat text to HorizonSail, so we cannot read your chats through the extension. If you explicitly consent and provide specific content for technical support, it is read only to handle that request.
This notice describes the extension. Visiting this policy page and contacting HorizonSail are also covered by the website privacy notice, including website analytics. The extension itself does not include that analytics code.
